Wills, Power of Attorney, Advance Directives

Our office provides a full line of representation regarding Wills, Powers of Attorneys, and Advance Directives. When it comes to drafting these important documents, we are well aware that everyone has a different situation. Therefore, we diligently work with you to make sure that your documents are carefully drafted to meet your specific needs.

When it comes to drafting a will, we will discuss with you your wishes for what will happen with your property after you are no longer here. Then, we will carefully create the document that meets your needs.

We also represent clients in drafting powers of attorney. Powers of attorney are important documents in which you grant someone else the authority to act on your behalf in matters relating to your finances, including your real estate and bank accounts. We strive to carefully discuss the implications of signing a power of attorney, as well as stressing the responsibility that your Agent will be assuming when acting on your behalf.

Finally, we meet with clients regarding Advance Directives. An advance directive typically includes a health care power of attorney, which allows someone to assist you in making medical decisions when you are unable to do so. Additionally, advance directives typically include Living Wills where you can express your wishes for medical treatment when you are at the end of your life.

We know that these are sensitive matters and not something that everyone wants to regularly think about. Therefore, we make our best efforts to efficiently prepare these documents and to provide our clients with peace of mind through personal care and attention.

If you are interested in having Wills, Powers of Attorney and/or Advance Directives prepared for you, please contact us.
